The biggest game of the year is almost here. Defending Super Bowl champs, the Kansas City Chiefs will attempt to become the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row when they face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. It’s the second time in three years these teams have competed for the Vince Lombardi trophy. The Chiefs are already closer than any other team has been to getting that threepeat, but the Eagles are looking to reclaim glory after losing to the Chiefs in 2023.

Will Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs make history or will the Eagles reclaim the throne of NFL champions? Find out on Sunday, Feb. 9 during Super Bowl LIX, airing on Fox.

Super Bowl LIX At-A-Glance

  • Super Bowl LIX teams: Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles
  • Super Bowl LIX date: Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025
  • Super Bowl LIX kickoff time: 6:30 PM ET
  • Super Bowl LIX location: Caesars Superdome, New Orleans

Super Bowl 2025 schedule

The biggest game of the NFL season, of course, isn’t just about the game. There’s a whole day of events ahead of the game and after. Pregame festivities with exclusive interviews and analysis. There’s also the pomp and circumstance of the coin toss and the national anthem before kick-off. The pregame coverage begins at 2 p.m. ET and will last for four hours. The coin toss, national anthem, and on-the-field festivities will begin at 6 p.m. ET. For those who want to skip the football of it all and tune in for Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show, you should aim to tune in between 8 and 8:30 p.m. If the game doesn’t go into overtime, then expect the Lombardi Trophy and MVP awards to be handed out between 9:30 and 10 p.m.

How to watch Super Bowl LIX

There are a few ways to watch Super Bowl LIX. The game will stream on Fox and be simulcast on Tubi and the NFL app. Tubi is a free ad-supported service available on most devices, including phones, laptops, Apple TVs, Rokus, and smart TVs. If you want to watch the game on Fox, find out what live TV streaming services carry the channel and fit you.

How to Watch Super Bowl LIX on DIRECTV STREAM

  • Suggested Plan: Entertainment
  • Monthly Price: $86.99
  • Free Trial: Yes, 5-days

DIRECTV STREAM is a popular live TV streaming service for sports fans because it comes with access to over regional sports networks if you get the second tier, Choice, package or higher. However, to watch the Super Bowl, you’ll only need the Entertainment package. The Entertainment package comes with Fox and your other local channels. It also includes ESPN and other channels so you’ll have access to national sporting events throughout the year.

DIRECTV STREAM subscriptions also come with unlimited Cloud DVR storage and the ability to stream on unlimited devices on your home network. New subscribers get premium channels like Max, Paramount Plus with Showtime, and Starz at no additional cost for the first three months. There are also plenty of entertainment channels like HGTV, Disney Channel, CNN, and more for the whole family.

How to Watch Super Bowl LIX on Fubo

  • Suggested Plan: Essential
  • Monthly Price: $84.99
  • Free Trial: Yes, 7-days

Fubo is another popular live TV streaming service for sports fans. It’s in the same price range as DIRECTV STREAM, but you get more than twice the number of channels for basically the same price. While Fubo won’t give you access to regional sports networks with the Essential plan (you’ll need to upgrade to the Pro plan for that), you’ll get Fox for the Super Bowl and the other major broadcast networks along with ESPN, NFL Network, FS1 and more on their most affordable tier.

However, it’s worth noting that Fubo has a few big holes, especially for baseball and basketball fans: No Fubo plan carries TBS, TNT, or truTV.

Each Fubo tier comes with unlimited Cloud DVR and the ability to stream on up to 10 devices on your home network.

How to Watch Super Bowl LIX on Hulu + Live TV

  • Suggested Plan: Hulu + Live TV bundle with ads
  • Monthly Price: $82.99
  • Free Trial: Yes, 3-days

The Hulu + Live TV bundle is a great option for football fans that also have a lot of entertainment needs. The Live TV service will get you Fox for the Super Bowl and the other major broadcast networks for your in-market games during the regular season. The Live TV package also comes with ESPN, FS1, SEC, and more. Hulu + Live TV also carries select regional sports networks, which is a bonus if you are in a qualifying market.

The real selling point of this, though, is access to the Hulu and Disney Plus streaming libraries with the Disney Plus and ESPN Plus bundle. That means you can stream hit dramas like The Bear and The Handmaid’s Tale and check out the latest Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel releases. The bundle includes ESPN Plus, which will allow you to read exclusive ESPN articles and watch exclusive sports analysis and content.

The Hulu + Live TV bundle also includes unlimited DVR storage and the ability to stream on two screens at a time. You can also create up to six profiles so everyone in your household can personalize their viewing experience.

How to Watch Super Bowl LIX on YouTube TV

  • Suggested Plan: Base Plan
  • Monthly Price: $82.99
  • Free Trial: Yes, 7-days

YouTube TV not only gives you access to Fox and the other major broadcast networks, but it also has an exclusive deal with NFL Sunday Ticket, which is very appealing to football fans. While Sunday Ticket can be purchased on its own, YouTube TV subscribers can add it to their plan at a discounted price. YouTube TV also has the Key Plays feature, which allows you to replay key moments in the game.

In addition to Fox and other local channels, YouTube TV offers live access to ESPN, FS1, NFL Network, and more so you’ll be connected to national sports once the regular season resumes in the fall. The Base Plan gives you unlimited DVR space and the ability to stream on up to three devices at a time.

Sports content on Fubo

Fubo’s Pro plan features several heavy hitters in sports coverage, including the Big Ten Network, ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Golf Channel, and NFL Network. The Elite and Premier plans upgrade the sports lineup by adding the MLB Network, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, NBA TV, NHL Network, and Zona Futbol.

For the avid sports fan seeking a more extensive selection, the Sports Plus add-on with NFL RedZone offers a diverse roster of channels. This includes popular options like NHL Network, NBA TV, MLB Strike Zone, Fight Network, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, MLB Network, and a range of Pac-12 networks. Another add-on that offers a compact eight-channel bundle, perfect for those who prefer a more streamlined experience is the Sports-Lite add-on, including NBA TV, NHL Network, MLB Network, Tennis Channel, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, SEC Network, and ACC Network.

Local channels on Fubo

On Fubo, you can watch all of the major local networks, including ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC. Some other channels are location-specific, including regional sports networks, so be sure to enter your zipcode on the Fubo website to see exactly which channels you’ll get in your area.

Fubo’s regional sports networks

Like DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo is one of the only live TV streaming services that offers a wide range of regional sports networks in its packages. However, subscribers must pay an extra regional sports fee, depending on their location. Fubo is the only service that offers RSNs in its base plan.

Fubo compared to other streaming services

Fubo arguably offers the most value for your money when compared to its counterparts. The price point is comparable to multiple live TV streaming services. However, the channel selection of the base plan is more than two to three times that of DIRECTV STREAM, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV.

Is Fubo the best service for sports fans?

Fubo’s sports offerings feature enough for casuals and superfans. Some of the channels sprinkled across the three major packages are Big Ten Network, ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Golf Channel, NFL Network, MLB Network, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, NBA TV, NHL Network, and Zona Futbol.

International football fans are still well represented on Fubo with the International Sports Plus add-on. This lineup includes the Fubo Latino Network, Fox Deportes, Zona Futbol, ESPN HD Deportes, GOLTV English, GOLTV Spanish, TyC Sports, Fubo Sports Network 2, and Fox Soccer Plus. With this add-on, you can stay up to date with all the action from your favorite leagues and teams, no matter where you are.

Is Fubo the best service for kids?

Fubo has lots of programming for younger household members. The Pro plan includes Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Nick Jr., and Ryan and Friends. In addition, the streamer has Universal Kids, a channel that caters to families with preschool-aged children.

FAQ

What channels are missing from Fubo?

Fubo has such an expansive range of channels that it may surprise you that some of the most popular channels aren’t available. Basketball and baseball fans will miss TBS, TNT, and truTV.

Does Fubo get local channels?

Fubo includes all the essential local channels. ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC are all part of the lineup.

How much does Fubo cost a month?

Fubo’s plans start at $84.99 per month for the 216-plus channel Pro plan. The most expensive plan is the Elite plan, which unlocks more than 292+ channels for $94.99 per month.

What is the downside of Fubo?

Fubo’s plans can be a smidge on the expensive side, with plans beginning at $84.99 per month for the 216-plus channel Pro plan. What makes that downside a bit more harsh is that regional channels can be in the ballpark of $11-$14, which quickly adds to your monthly bill.

Let’s help you decide which package fits your viewing preferences.

Fubo is a top sports streaming service for those looking to cut the cord. Fubo’s channel lineups offers one of the largest on the market, featuring a full range of international, national, and regional sports, plus a variety of other news and entertainment. Still, with plans starting at $84.99 a month, many viewers may hesitate to jump in without a chance to try a Fubo free trial.

Fubo offers a 7-day free trial so you can test out the waters before committing to a full month. The Fubo free trial is one of the longest currently available. With access to everything included in the plan you choose, the trial is a great way to test out Fubo before diving all the way in. Read on to learn more about Fubo’s packages you can select for a free trial and how you can best use it.

What can I watch with a Fubo free trial?

The Fubo free trial gives subscribers full access to everything in the plan selected. Whether that be access to ESPN, FS1, ABC, USA, or MSNBC you’ll have endless hours of live TV streaming that will keep you busy for well over your 7-day limit of the free trial.

You’ll be able to peruse every channel in the plan, set up DVR recordings, set up user profiles, and stream on multiple devices. You can select your favorite teams and shows to follow, and everything will carry over if/when you decide to pay for your subscription when the free trial is over.

How does Fubo’s free trial compare to others?

Fubo certainly isn’t the only streaming platform cutting back on its free trial options. Hulu + Live TV and Sling TV no longer offer free trials at all. Meanwhile, YouTube TV offers a similar variable free trial to Fubo, and DIRECTV STREAM’s free trial offers five days.

Fubo helps you quickly set up your favorites, and there’s even a sports-focused channel guide to help you get right to your favorite contests if that’s your priority. Plus, since Fubo is one of the only streaming platforms to feature regional sports networks (RSNs), you can use your free trial to try out your favorite local teams’ broadcasts before you commit.

The FuboTV logo on a TV

Fubo initially launched in 2015 as a soccer streaming service. It has since expanded its offerings within live TV streaming to include more sports, news, and entertainment channels.

Fubo’s commitment to sports remains strong, with a wide range of sports-centric channels. These include coverage for all the major professional sports leagues like the NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL, and an impressive college sports lineup (SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Pac-12) across their own networks and the ESPN family of channels. Football fans are also well served with add-ons for international sports.

Plans start at $84.99* for the 216+ channel Pro plan, which includes regional sports networks (RSNs), unlike most other live TV streaming services. The only downside is the regional sports fee. In addition to the three English-language plans, there’s also a Latino plan serving the Spanish-speaking community.

Fubo is one of the pricier sports-centric streaming services. However, you get a good bang for your buck. The expansive channel list, and the ability to add on sports and entertainment channels that you might be missing missing, allows you to cut ties (and hopefully bills) with your current cable, satellite, or streaming provider.

Fubo user profiles

Fubo’s profiles let subscribers tailor their viewing experience. A Fubo account supports up to six profiles, each with a record of your favorite channels, shows, and recordings. However, the live TV streaming service falls short with regard to the kids. Fubo doesn’t offer parental controls, which will likely be a deal breaker for parents. While there is a menu filter that will display family-friendly programming, the absence of real restrictions or passcodes will be unacceptable to the majority of parents.

Fubo review: Content

Fubo stands out from the competition with the volume of programming available. The entry-level Pro plan comes bursting out of the proverbial gate with over 190 channels, including local channels ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC and sports essentials ESPN, Big Ten Network, CBS Sports Network, Fox Sports 1 (FS1), NFL Network, and SEC Network. Sports fans will also be thrilled to know that RSNs are available on the Pro plan, so you won’t need to upgrade to access this feature.

However, if you are interested in leveling up, the Elite plan offers some more premium programming for $10 more per month. In addition to the Pro plans content, subscribers receive 60-plus more channels from the Fubo Extra and News Plus add-ons. That means you will unlock access to ESPNEWS, ESPNU, MLB Network, MTV Classic, MTV Live, MTVU, NBA TV, NHL Network, Tennis Channel, Zona Futbol, Africa News, Bloomberg Originals, Cheddar News, CNBC World, Euro News, i24, and lots more.

The Premier plan is tailored specifically to fans of SHOWTIME programming and cinephiles, and it includes SHOWTIME live and on-demand. The Latino plan rounds out the four packages. Here, you will find channels like ESPN HD Deportes, UniMas, NatGeo Mundo, and Cine Latino. All plans come equipped with 1000 hours of DVR storage, with the Latino plan being the exception, with 250 hours. The English-language plans all allow streaming on 10 screens at home, while the Latino plan is limited to two.

Fubo for sports fans

Fubo is one of the best live TV streaming services for sports coverage. Practically every major professional and amateur sports league is represented across all plans. This includes the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, SEC, ACC, Big Ten, and pretty much every member of the ESPN family. Fubo also stays true to its roots in the beautiful game with an add-on featuring Fubo Latino Network, Fox Deportes, Zona Futbol, ESPN HD Deportes, GOLTV English, GOLTV Spanish, TyC Sports, Fubo Sports Network 2, and Fox Soccer Plus. Fubo is also one of the two services that feature a full slate of RSNs. More importantly, Fubo offers RSNs even in its base Pro plan. There is a caveat, however. A regional sports fee will apply, and depending on the number of RSNs in your area, the cost ranges from $11 to $14 per month.

Many often tout Sling TV as the most cost-effective live TV streaming service. But Fubo should not be overlooked in that conversation. If nothing else, Fubo offers considerable value for your money with a base plan that starts at $84.99 per month for 211+ channels. That’s more than some streamers’ premium options. For comparison, DIRECTV STREAM also starts at $79.99 but for only 75+ channels. DIRECTV STREAM does have the upper hand by not charging a regional sports fee. But unlike Fubo, you need to upgrade to access RSNs.

How to subscribe to Fubo

Setting up your Fubo subscription takes a few steps:

  1. Go over to Fubo’s homepage and choose a plan that interests you.
  2. You’ll see a button saying “Start Free Trial.” Select it for a free seven-day trial.
  3. Enter your email, choose a password, and enter your ZIP code.
  4. Select “Continue,” enter payment information, and select any add-ons. No payment will be required until the trial period expires. If you don’t cancel your subscription, you will automatically be billed every month.
  5. After you have finished signing up, you can start streaming.

How to cancel my Fubo subscription

It’s a fairly simple process to cancel your Fubo subscription.

  1. Log in to your Fubo account via the web.
  2. Click on your user profile in the upper right-hand corner, then select “My Account.”
  3. Navigate to the bottom of the page and select “Cancel subscription.” You might be offered the chance to pause your subscription temporarily. If you choose this option, DVR recordings will remain intact during this time.
  4. To go ahead with the cancellation, click “Cancel” and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be able to continue using the service until your current billing cycle ends.

FAQ

Is Fubo worth it?

If you’re a sports fan, Fubo is definitely worth the subscription. The biggest drawback is the lack of TBS and TNT for baseball and basketball, but there are other channels to make up for those shortcomings.

Which is better Hulu or Fubo?

Picking between Hulu and Fubo depends on your preferences because they have similar price points. However, in terms of viewing options, Fubo’s base plan offers more than twice the number of channels as Hulu’s.

Is Fubo free with Amazon Prime?

Fubo is not currently available on Amazon Prime. However, you can access Fubo Sports Network on Amazon Freevee.

Since its launch in 2015, Fubo has focused on sports content as a primary platform offering. However, they’ve expanded their library pretty significantly over the years. Today, you can choose from three english language Fubo plans and one Spanish option. While Fubo’s channel list is one of the largest on the market, you’ll have to be ready to give up the likes of TNT, TBS, and truTV, meaning some MLB, NBA, and NHL games will be missed with this live TV streaming service.

Today, we’re pulling back the curtain on everything you need to know about Fubo’s plans, pricing, and more in 2025. Between the three english language Fubo plans, the main difference ends up being the number of channels you’ll have access to based on the amount you are willing to pay. In the most basic plan on Fubo, the Pro plan’s content is already above average. Customers receive close to 200 channels, including TLC, ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, USA Network and MSNBC. For those interested in sports, this plan includes ESPN, ESPN 2, CBS Sports Network, NFL Network, Fox Sports 1, Big 10 Network, beIN SPORTS, and lots more. You’ll also have access to a robust on-demand library.

As you work your way up you’ll gain everything in the previous plans with some additions. The included Fubo Extra, for instance, enhances sports and entertainment content with other popular channels — such as ESPNEWS, ESPNU, MLB Network, MTV Classic, MTV Live, MTVU, NBA TV, NHL Network, Tennis Channel, and more. There is also a News Plus add-on, which offers a suite of additional news channels such as Africa News, Bloomberg Originals, Cheddar News, CNBC World, Euro News, and i24 to keep you up to date on everything happening in the world.

As you reach the highest available plan, you’ll get SHOWTIME live and on-demand content added on. You can enjoy films like “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Mean Girls.” Other popular shows associated with this add-on include options such as “Yellowjackets,” “Billions,” and “Dexter.”

Latino plan

With Fubo’s Latino plan, subscribers have access to some of the most popular broadcast channels in Spanish. The package also includes movie channels like Cine Latino and popular sports and entertainment networks, such as ESPN HD Deportes, UniMas, and NatGeo Mundo. The Latino plan also offers 250 hours of cloud DVR space and supports streaming on up to two devices at the same time.

Hulu + Live TV vs. Fubo: Which is Best for You in 2025? https://sportsnaut.com/hulu-live-tv-vs-fubotv/ Mon, 27 Jan 2025 17:13:17 +0000 https://sportsnaut.com/?p=648779 Man Choosing Between Streaming Providers On Smart TV With Remote

When choosing between the two streaming powerhouse providers, the decision rests on your budget, your viewing desires, and the possible add-ons you might want for your streaming experience. The two providers are highly competitive: There is a huge array of Fubo channels geared toward sports, entertainment, and news. Meanwhile, Hulu + Live TV built a reputation for airing broadcast shows next-day and offering a massive content library.

Let’s explore each streaming service side-by-side, so you can decide which is right for your budget.

Hulu + Live TV vs Fubo content

Hulu + Live TV has a single channel lineup, while Fubo has three plans to choose from with a lot more options. In fact, Fubo has a higher channel count than not only Hulu + Live TV but also most competitors. At the highest tier of service, Fubo can deliver more than 250 networks.

You’ll find a lot of similarities between the two livestreaming platforms when it comes to channel basics, especially for sports fans. Both Hulu + Live TV and Fubo have all local channels, including NBC, ABC, CBS, and Fox. Plus, each platform carries ESPN, Fox Sports 1 (FS1), NFL Network, MLB Network, and SEC Network. With both Hulu + Live TV and Fubo, some sports channels require a paid add-on.

One area where Hulu + Live TV outshines Fubo is the complementary ESPN Plus subscription. As soon as you sign up for live channels, you can use your Hulu login to get into the ESPN app and watch highlights, full college games, original talk shows, and documentaries. Hulu also includes Disney Plus in its subscription, and the two apps are expected to merge. This gives you content from Marvel, Pixar, National Geographic, and access to some classic Disney movies.

Hulu falls behind Fubo when it comes to regional sports networks (RSNs). Some Hulu + Live TV subscribers can get an RSN, including New Yorkers who are in the SNY coverage area, but you won’t find most major RSNs on the platform. Meanwhile, Fubo offers a lot of RSN channels, including FanDuel Sports Networks. Notably, Fubo also has NBA TV, which is unavailable on Hulu + Live TV.

In terms of on-demand content, Hulu wins again. The Hulu on-demand library has thousands of titles. You’ll get a lot of network shows and Hulu Originals like “The Bear” and “Only Murders in the Building.” Fubo has an on-demand library for shows that air on its live channels, but you won’t find any exclusives like you will with Hulu.

Both Fubo and Hulu + Live TV have similar paid sports extras that augment the standard channel roster. Hulu’s is called the Sports Add-on and features NFL RedZone, plus channels like FanDuel TV, FanDuel Racing, Outdoor Channel, and Sportsman Channel. Fubo has Sports Plus with NFL RedZone, which includes NBA TV, NHL Network, SEC Network, and more.

Hulu + Live TV vs Fubo DVR

Both Hulu + Live TV and Fubo give customers unlimited cloud DVR storage. This is a relatively new feature for Fubo, which used to limit plans to 1,000 hours by default. Each platform lets you save recordings for up to nine months, at which point they will be deleted unless you’ve already deleted them manually.

Both livestreaming services allow you to set automatic recordings for TV shows so you never miss an episode. You can also set your DVR to record every game featuring a specific team. Fubo goes one step further, allowing you to record an entire league automatically, including the NFL.

Hulu + Live TV vs Fubo personalization and user experience

Hulu + Live TV automatically sets up a profile for the initial user, but you can add six more for a total of seven unique profiles in your account. Every user can set their own recordings and favorites, plus track their individual progress on series in the Hulu on-demand library. Two simultaneous streams are allowed.

To add a favorite channel on the platform, search for the channel by name and go to the Details page. Select the three dots next to the channel and add it to My Stuff. The channel will also be added to the Favorite Channels tab. On Hulu.com, you can add favorites from the Hub tab. Unfortunately, you can’t rearrange the channels in the guide.

If you want to use Hulu + Live TV away from home, there are a few things to keep in mind. You can stay logged into a mobile device for up to 30 days as long as it was previously logged in on your home network. However, if you want to log into a new living room device like a Smart TV at a new location, you’ll have to change your Hulu home network entirely. You can only change your home network up to four times per year. This means Hulu + Live TV isn’t a viable option for sharing an account between two households.

Fubo lets you create up to six unique profiles, with each account having the ability to create their own favorite channels list and recordings. You can also follow a series under a specific profile. To add a favorite on Fubo, navigate to the channel in the guide and press Enter or OK on your remote. A pop-up menu will appear and you just have to select Add to Favorites. Then the channel will appear at the bottom of your Favorite Channels list.

Like Hulu + Live TV, Fubo makes you choose a home network. While you can stream on up to three mobile devices from different locations simultaneously, you can only stream from one TV at a time. Fubo does not state a maximum number of times you can change your home network, but it also doesn’t say you have to change your home network to use a new TV. The home network for Fubo primarily functions as a way to let the platform know where to give you unlimited screens.

Hulu + Live TV vs Fubo for sports fans

Fubo has more channels overall and a better selection of regional sports networks, including Bally Sports and Marquee Network. If you’re into local teams and making sure that you catch every game, this might make Fubo a no-brainer.

However, Hulu + Live TV offers ESPN Plus for free, so you can watch more college football games from a variety of teams and the popular “30 to 30” documentary series. This makes it a better option for general sports coverage.

Both streamers have a sports add-on that gives you NFL Redzone and other channels, though Fubo’s extra has more networks than Hulu’s.

Which service is best for you?

Fubo and Hulu + Live TV both have channel rosters with tons of sports, news, and entertainment networks. Not only can you get must-have sports coverage from ESPN and FS1, but you can relax with primetime shows and catch up on Bravo reality shows. Fubo is good for people who value a high channel count and regional sports. Hulu might be better if you want Disney and ESPN Plus coverage included in your plan, plus a giant on-demand library.

It’s also worth noting that Hulu + Live TV is more affordable, though the top-tier Fubo plan is still within range for people who want to spend less than traditional cable. Fubo has one package that includes Paramount Plus with SHOWTIME, while Hulu + Live TV doesn’t include any premium networks for free.

FAQ

Which is better, Hulu + Live TV or Fubo?

Hulu + Live TV is better for getting a huge on-demand library, while Fubo is better for regional sports networks and channel lineup choices.

Which streaming service is best for live TV?

The right livestreaming service depends on what you value most. Hulu + Live TV is best for getting a huge on-demand library, Fubo and DIRECTV STREAM are best for getting regional sports, and Sling TV is best for price.

What is the downside to Fubo?

Fubo TV doesn’t have a great on-demand library, and it’s not possible to create a home network using a shared wi-fi.

Either the Washington Commanders or the Philadelphia Eagles will represent the NFC at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans — but first, they’ll need to capture the conference title. They’ll get the chance to do just that at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 3 p.m. ET, when they square off in the NFC Championship.

While the Eagles are the current favorites in this NFC East matchup, quarterback Jalen Hurts’ mobility will remain limited due to his lingering knee injury. Still, they’ve got superstar running back Saquon Barkley on their side — and stopping him will likely be a tough task for the Commanders‘ defense.

Fox will broadcast this year’s NFC Championship. If you don’t have cable, you can catch the game with one of the following live TV streaming services.

Watch on DIRECTV STREAM

  • Suggested Plan: Entertainment
  • Monthly Price: $86.99
  • Free Trial: Yes, 5-days

DIRECTV STREAM is one of the most robust cable streaming platforms and is especially clutch if you live in the same market as your favorite team. These are the playoffs so all four games will be broadcast nationally, and DIRECTV STREAM will give you every channel you need to watch. When the regular season comes back around, a DIRECTV STREAM membership is most likely to carry the regional sports network for your area, keeping you covered when it comes to your local football team and other pro sports. You’ll need the Choice package to score the RSNs, but that also comes with other national sports networks like NFL Network, NBA TV, MLB Network, ESPN, and many more.

There are also many entertainment options with the over 125 channels in the Choice tier and unlimited Cloud DVR storage so you can record your favorite shows and games to rewatch at your leisure. You can stream on up to ten devices on your home network and access DIRECTV STREAM on three devices when you’re traveling, so you can watch wherever you are.

Watch on Fubo

  • Suggested Plan: Essential
  • Monthly Price: $84.99
  • Free Trial: Yes, 7-days

If you really want to take live sports streaming to another level, Fubo is the best option on the market. The basic Essential plan will let you watch every Divisional Round matchup, and you’ll have more than 30 sports networks. Fubo is the only other streaming platform to also include RSNs in select plans (Pro and Elite), so it’s truly a complete package. It’s also much cheaper than DIRECTV STREAM. For those who want regional sports coverage with a Pro plan, you’ll pay $84.99 a month plus a monthly regional sports fee that’s based on your area.

There are also plenty of ways to expand your plan and add even more sports and entertainment. All Fubo plans include unlimited Cloud DVR and up to 10 simultaneous streams at home, so you can record any Divisional games you have to miss. It’s worth noting that Fubo has a few significant gaps in its channel lineup — it doesn’t offer major networks like TBS, TNT, truTV, CNN, and BBC. You can try it out for free for up to seven days over the Divisional Round weekend.

Watch on Hulu + Live TV

Watch on Sling TV

  • Suggested Plan: Sling Orange & Blue
  • Monthly Price: $60.99
  • Free Trial: No

Sling is the most affordable option on this list, but beware that Sling does not carry CBS so you’ll need local access or a Paramount Plus to watch the Ravens and Bills game, which is potentially the most anticipated matchup of the divisional playoffs. You’ll need the top-tier plan, Sling Orange & Blue, to get ESPN and the other broadcast networks, but you’ll want to double-check that the broadcast networks come in your coverage area. The good news about Sling is that for that affordable price you’ll get four ESPN channels, FS1, NFL Network, and dozens of other entertainment networks.

Having the Sling Orange & Blue plan allows you to stream on four devices at a time – one on the Orange plan and three with access to the Blue channels. The combined bundle also gives you 22 exclusive channels than if you went with only Orange or Blue. You also get 50 hours of DVR storage, which is easily upgraded to 200 hours for an extra $5 per month. You can also cancel your plan at any time without worry about contract or cancellation fees.

Watch on YouTube TV

  • Suggested Plan: Base Plan
  • Monthly Price: $82.99
  • Free Trial: Yes, 7-days

If you are out-of-market for your favorite team and are looking for the best streaming service that will allow you to watch every playoff game, but also make it the easiest to watch your favorite teams next season, YouTube TV is a very popular choice because of its partnership with NFL Sunday Ticket. YouTube TV is the exclusive home of the premium sports package that lets you watch any Sunday NFL game that is not being broadcast locally in your area, so it’s a big win for out-of-market fans. However, you don’t need to commit to the cost of NFL Sunday Ticket until the fall.

The YouTube Base Plan comes with all of the channels you need for the divisional playoffs and over 100 other channels. You’ll also get unlimited DVR space and special features like the Key Plays view that will let you review key moments in the game. You’re allowed six different household accounts so you can manage your own suggestions algorithm and set up kid-friendly accounts. And you can stream on up to three devices simultaneously so everyone can watch what makes them happy.
